The Belmont
Well we have all had time to come to terms with what happened this past Saturday at the 140th Belmont Stakes, and I think that there are some loose ends that need to be closed. First off congrats to Da'Tara but his win did seem strange. Isn't is strange that a world-class jockey would pull up a horse like Big Brown in the biggest race of its life because he was "off". Isn't it strange that there was nothing at all physically wrong with Big Brown and that his ears were pricked up and in the "ready" position when he was pulled up. Isn't it strange that all of this happened after he was signed for a $50 million dollar stud fee. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions but money talks, and horses can't.
